Mew uses his sexuality just as much, if not more, than Boston and Top do. He just uses it differently than they do. While they both use their sexualities as a way to derive pleasure while Mew is using it as a way to manipulate other people into the position he wants them in without actually acting on their wants.

You know what absolutely gutted me this episode? Ray telling Mew to wait because “someone nice might step into your life one day.” Like he clearly knew this day would come—had clearly been dreading it—but what he wanted for Mew was a nice boy who treated him well. Not Top.
This is why Ray hasn’t made a move on Mew. He doesn’t think he’s good enough for him. So instead he has one night stands that don’t matter to try to forget the boy he actually loves when what he really should be doing is trying to become a person Mew deserves.
And what really makes me crazy is the fact that it looks like the person who finally convinces him to change isn’t going to be his long time crush—this romantic ideal he’s created in his head—but Sand, the very real bar singer who saved his life.

Doing whatever he can to finally get Top to sleep with him. Maybe say that Mew lost his virginity to Ray? Something that really makes Top stop caring?

I am lowkey expecting chekhov’s swim trunks to become important later on. Aside from horny reasons why would they make such a point to include this shot of Boston taking his swim trunks off? And it was before he even got into the shower which means when Mew walked in they’d be right in front of him. He even glances down and asks Top where Boston went when he enters. No way he doesn’t find it a little suspicious that Top pulls him away from the shower next to him the way he did and says that “he probably left.” Left naked maybe. The entire scene ended kinda abruptly too which makes me wonder if there’s something we’re missing
